Our Story

How it all started...

Established in 1948, Cornerstone Church began at a Sunday evening worship and prayer gathering in the Franklin Creamery. The next week, Bethlehem Methodist Church shared their facilities for our meetings to continue. A year later, we joined a group of like-minded churches known today as Converge Worldwide.

We have continued to move and grow as God directed Cornerstone forward. Most recently, we bought and refurbished a bowling alley in Crystal, Minnesota to become our new home. From our newest location at 5000 West Broadway, we hope to extend the good news of Jesus throughout the Northwest Metro.

What comes next...

Prayerful, regular, intentional presence leads us to pay attention to the world around us. As we do life together, learning and living out the way of Jesus, we believe we can represent Jesus well by expressing His great love for all people and doing the most good where ever we can.
A church that matters to the community is a church where the community matters first!
We believe the one life we are invited to live in and through Jesus is best experienced together. In these changing times we are creating more spaces, both online and in person, to experience that life together!
