RECEIVING AND EXPERIENCING GOD'S GRACE THROUGH CHRIST

The radical beauty of grace is that it is totally unmerited and unconditional. We don’t deserve the free gift of salvation, we don’t deserve the constant help of the Holy Spirit, and we don’t deserve all of the joys and pleasures of this life. And yet, because of God’s unthinkable love for us, we get to experience all of these forms of grace and more. At Cornerstone we look at grace in two ways: God's saving grace and God's timely grace.

Saving grace is experienced when we receive God's salvation through Christ. Our sins are forgiven. Our broken becomes transformed into wholeness and we get to be with God now and forever!

Timely grace is experienced when God meets us in our present trouble, bringing comfort and help so that we can sustain through the day-to-day troubles that come. We offer several opportunities to help you experience grace.

EXPERIENCING GRACE

Prayer

Praying for each other is important. We all face difficult times. Sharing a prayer request is a way of inviting other people and God to be your spiritual help in times of real time need and struggle. We are ready to support you in prayer. Use the link below to share your prayer request with our pastoral staff.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Stephen Ministry at Cornerstone provides one-to-one Christian care to individuals facing life challenges or difficulties. Through supervised and trained peer listeners (called care givers), Stephen Ministry helps care receivers through times of loss, grief and confusion. Stephen Ministers are caring Christian friends who listen, understand, accept and pray for and with care receivers who are working through a crisis or a tough time.

Saying "YES" to Jesus

When you say "YES" to Jesus, you begin a relationship with God. Jesus  talked about our first steps of faith being like a small seed planted but then begins to grow. To say "YES" to Jesus is only the beginning. Growing to become more and more like Jesus is a lifelong process for both individuals and communities of believers. God forms and transforms us. It is through God’s transformed people, partnering with God and others to help transform the world. Baptism is a way  of showing people that you have accepted Jesus and marks your first steps of faith.  We encourage you to "YES" to Jesus today!
