September Featured Local Partners

We believe in doing the most good in our community. Collaboration across the Twin Cities is one way we can extend that good. Each month we feature different local partners we work with in the community. The links below help you connect with ways to serve and support these good works.

Local Support Ministry
Healthy food. Proper clothing. Housing stability. This is the ongoing story of PRISM.

PRISM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1970 by folks who were concerned about local hungry and homeless families.
What started as a small, informal effort has since evolved into a strong, sustainable organization that is considered a leading provider of basic needs services in the northwest Twin Cities suburbs.

New Life Family Service

Pre-Pregnancy and Adoption Support
New Life Family Services believes each person should have the ability to receive physical, emotional, and spiritual support as each one faces pregnancy-related situations and circumstances.
New Life Family Services walks beside each client offering them love and support to make informed and educated decisions in their time of crisis and need. It is through this care that New Life is seeing God change hearts, save lives, build families, and restore hope.

La Patria School Child Sponsorship

Your support can change  generations.

Since 2003, Cornerstone has partnered with La Patria School in San Pedro Sula, Honduras to support families and transform  lives through education and faith development. Each year, we have the privilege of helping students receive a Christian education through La Patria School. Currently 150 students receive support through our sponsorship program.   Many of the students that attend the school would not be able to afford the education without the scholarships that the Cornerstone community provides each school year.  In 2019, La Patria School witnessed their first enrollments of self-sustained, second generation students in the program! As much as we celebrate the awesome impact of empowered families, there is still much work to do.  Receive more information about how you can connect with this awesome opportunity by clicking the button below.

How You Can Help...

  • Sponsor a Student: A full scholarship is $350.  You will have the blessing of being paired up with a student. Each year you will receive letters and pictures of your sponsor child, as well as an opportunity to communicate with them about your life and family.
  • Partial Scholarship: Consider giving a one-time gift that will be combined with other gifts to cover students who haven’t been fully scholarship yet. This one-time gift can be any amount.
  • Bless a Teacher: The teachers that work at La Patria choose to be there because of the Biblically-based education it provides. In doing so, they are making a sacrifice in the salary that they are receiving and the resources they are able to have for their classrooms. Your gift helps supply classrooms with needed materials that are often beyond the financial abilities of the school.
