Weekly Update 11/16

Weekly Update 11/16

Hey Cornerstone Family,

This past Sunday we commissioned our Operation Christmas Child boxes, as micro-missionaries being sent all over the globe. There is still time to add your boxes. We will gather boxes all week in the office between 9:30a and 3:30p and Sunday, November 22 before the morning gathering as well. After that, the boxes will go to the distribution center where they will be prepared for shipping. Thanks to all who participated in this great work.

We have an incredible partnership with fellow believers in Honduras. Beyond the struggles of poverty that ravage Honduras, they are wrought in turmoil brought by tumultuous weather. Hurricane Eta left so much destruction in its wake after making landfall on November 3, 2020. Now, our friends face another destructive wave as Hurricane Iota prepares to make landfall within the next several hours. Please pray for Honduras and Central America in the wake of these storms.

COVID-19 is rapidly surging in the Twin Cities again. Check out Cornerstone's COVID-19 Updates here: https://cornerstonecrystal.org/covid-19. There may be changes coming to Bible studies meeting on campus. The Tuesday Men's Bible is shifting online with this link.

Special thanks to #heartsbrokeneyesopen for leading discussion groups supporting our series on racial righteousness. A discussion group on the book Be the Bridge begins soon. Contact Charles Kolstad for access to the online book discussion: charles@heartsbrokeneyesopen.com

We know that 2020 has been a difficult year. We are here for you. Use these links to connect with several resources including pastoral counseling, prayer request sharing, emergency aid requests, or connecting with a Stephen Minister.
