Weekly Update 11/09
Weekly Update 11/09
Hey Cornerstone Family,
This coming Sunday, we begin a new teaching series: The Beautiful Mess. 1st Corinthians will guide our reflection on Christ’s intention for the church in the 21st Century. As we tune into the words of Scripture and the work of the Spirit, I believe this series will echo deep needs in the church today and cast intentional vision for diligent witness to the love Christ. Check out this link to read a brief introduction to Pastor Jeremy’s newest series.
This Sunday is Operation Christmas Child collection Sunday! Bring your boxes to the main hall at Cornerstone as we gather for worship or bring them to the church offices M-Th 9:30a to 3:30p. We still have boxes available to fill—meaning—there is still time for you to participate! Those boxes act like missionaries being sent all over the world to share the good news of Jesus. Join in the mission (and the fun).
For those with kids in the home, we still have November's Family Discipleship Pack available. I personally have enjoyed working through these discussions and activities with my littles.
If you need us to deliver one to you, email us at info@cornerstonecrystal.org and let us know. We will be glad to help. Follow this link to dive deeper with your pack.
Special thanks to #heartsbrokeneyesopen for leading a great learning and serving opportunity last Saturday. Check out this link for a few photos of the event!
We know that 2020 has been a difficult year. We are here for you. Use these links to connect with several resources including pastoral counseling, prayer request sharing, emergency aid requests, or connecting with a Stephen Minister.
Blessings,
The Cornerstone Staff
